Tomorrow: 8:00am consult with the Medical Oncologist who will oversee the chemo
Friday:  7:15am Check in at St Lukes Boise to have chemo port embedded to facilitate chemo AND also a biopsy for diagnosis
Chemo starts next week.

Parents arriving in 15 minutes.  Another priesthood blessing from my dad before this all gets rolling.
Melissa coming at 9:45 to give me my shot (2x per day in my belly to thin my blood) and to go with me to the pulmonologist.

Off we go!  Pray for me.  I'm "finding strength beyond my own...." Hymn 220

  2. I think of you often. I've lost you along the way somehow. I think you are such an amazing person inside and out and I'm sorry you have to go through this right now. I'm praying for you and want you to know how much I love you.

  4. I just heard (thanks Marne') about your blog and your current health struggle. I read your blog with tears streaming down my face at the testimony you have and the attitude you have about it all. You are of course in my prayers and I will put your name on the Mt. Timp Prayer roll. (I have such a testimony of all those prayers and the power it sustains).

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am sure it is not easy to do so but you are a strength to so many with your bravery!

My prayers go with you and your sweet family.

  5. Michelle, in 3 Nephi 4: 7-10, you remind me of verse 10. Thank you for your scripture from Daniel yesterday. I am so glad your parents are with you! You are in our hearts and prayers.

  6. So much light and love- such a perfect name of a blog for someone who has and continues to exemplify those attributes in our world of darkness and hatred. You were never my teacher, yet after nearly 20 years the second someone mentions your name a flood of memories and feelings of joy, peace, and happiness return because of the lasting impact you had and consistently have proven to have in people’s lives. You truly are a reflection of God and his brilliance.

“That which is of God is light; and they that receiveth light, and continueth in God, receiveth more light; and that light growth brighter and brighter until the perfect day.” Doctrine and Covenants 50:24

    Thoughts, hopes, and prayers.

  7. I'm sure you don't remember me. I was a student of yours at WJHS 1997. I have thought of you many times through out the years. You are such a light and beautiful example to all. Me and my family are praying for you!!!

  8. I'm sure you don't remember me either, but I have always remembered your influence for good, for light and love on my life as well. I am praying for you, so are my little ones. You are on the Oakland temple roll (although I'm sure your family has done that already, more times doesn't hurt, right?) I know the Lord has a plan for you and your time on this earth...you are the one that taught me that. =) Much love from the Berg sisters!
